![]() Would I be able to pass arguments withe the msgIN.route() statement -or- some way for the function being called to know which control is doing the calling? As I add lighting fixtures, especially when we’re getting into 6 elements per fixture (RGBWAUv) the code gets a bit unmanageable. Hey all, I've been using TouchOSC w/ Osculator and Traktor on a mac for something like 6-8 months now but have recently run into some problems. It also gives us the ability to connect to our computer remotely so that it is not the main center of focus. TouchOSC Editor for Mac is categorized as Design & Photo Tools. TouchOSC is an app designed for iOS that gives us the ability to communicate between platforms using Open Sound Control(OSC) protocol and Midi. TouchOSC can communicate with other software and hardware using the MIDI and Open Sound Control protocols in a variety of ways and via many different types of wired and wireless connections simultaneously. An XY color picker would be fabulous! I am a little reluctant to change libraries as I sure struggled to get OSC/DMX/Ethernet all behaving, but I am going to give it a shot. TouchOSC can be used on touch-screen mobile devices as well as desktop operating systems using traditional input methods. Is there something better than touchOSC? Something with a textbox that I could get feedback on the values of a control would be something I could really use. Are you using ardOSC with TouchOSC? Hi and thanks for getting back to me so quickly! You’re Headroom, correct? Yes, I am using TouchOSC with ardOSC. If you have any problems with the little tutorial, please let me know. That’s why I wrote this little tutorial and while it only uses two controls, a button and a fader it covers all you need in that is sends and receives OSC messages. When I started converting my own application to OSCuino there were no tutorials and it took some experimentation to get it to work. My recommendation for you would be to change from using ardOSC to OSCuino. It also has been ported to run on a spark core but I don’t have any experience with that board myself. It is also not directly hardware dependent so for example if you want to use a WIZ820io Ethernt module with the much more capable W5200 chip then you can do that. That OSC library is actively maintained by the inventors of the protocol. You can create, view, and edit captions within Final Cut Pro, and deliver them as part of your video or as a separate file. Final Cut Pro now includes an intuitive, comprehensive set of tools for closed captioning in a variety of formats, without the need for expensive third-party software or services. The Video Editing & Production category includes software programs designed to record, edit, and produce video in various digital file formats and to export that video to DVDs or other external media. Also, if I remember correctly it was/ is hardware dependent and requires a W5100 chip. It’s certainly a neat little library, however, it is not actively maintained anymore and really only covers a small subset of what the OSC protocol has to offer. ![]() Hi Carl, Unfortunately I cannot help you with ardOSC.
